Fope Adelowo

Fope Adelowo is a private equity and venture capital investor with Helios Investment Partners, one of the largest African focused private Investment firms managing funds totalling $3billion. Fope leads the firm’s financial services and fintech vertical, and also recently launched and co-heads the firm’s Venture Capital Strategy. 

She has close to 2 decades of experience; prior to Helios, she served in several roles in the FICC team at Goldman Sachs in London and also worked in the Principal Investment Group of Cardinal Stone Partners in Lagos, Nigeria. 

She has also worked at Boston Consulting Group in New York and Jumia, one of the largest e-commerce companies in Africa. Fope serves on the Board of Directors of Thunes, Paymob and TPAY Mobile. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MEng from Imperial College London where she graduated with a first class. She is also a trustee and board member for a number of Charities including Alpha International, the Royal Drawing School and the Aleto Foundation.
